Danelle Bergstrom was born in 1957 in Sydney, Australia. From 1974 to 1979 she studied at the Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney and from 1975 to1980 at the Alexander Mackie CAE for a Bachelor of Art Education.
Renowned for her exquisite landscape works, Danelle is also an award winning portrait painter. Her landscape works include intensely personal renditions of the land around the artist’s enclave near Hill End in NSW. Presenting the viewer with a visually dynamic yet painterly vision of the bush that fluctuates between representation and abstraction.
